About Fish For a Cure
Fish For A Cure (F4AC) is a fishing tournament and fundraising challenge that makes waves in cancer care in our community. We raise funds by hosting an annual fishing tournament on the Chesapeake Bay, followed by a Shore Party in Annapolis, Maryland. All funds raised through F4AC directly benefit the Cancer Survivorship Program at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute. The cancer survivorship programs are donor-funded and provide social, emotional, physical, and psychological support for patients and families as they navigate treatment and recovery. Your charitable gifts toward F4AC support more than 2,000 of our friends, loved ones, and neighbors experiencing the unique challenges of a cancer diagnosis with access to critically needed psychosocial services, including nurse navigation, nutrition counseling, psychosocial well-being, and oncology rehabilitation services.
